Painting Your Path

From Mud to Magic: Interview with Deni Rayneau

Clarissa Castillo-Ramsey Season 3 Episode 30

Hey hey! From time to time, I’ll drop multiple episodes in a week. This is one of those weeks. When I take time to reflect about this year so far, it’s been a ‘messy middle’ kind of year. A year of experimentation. A year of me sometimes thinking - WTF am I doing?

So along with my book launch for Radical Freedom, I want to share this interview with an artist who I’ve been following for a little while and greatly adore. Her name is Deni Rayneau. I took her course The Messy Middle earlier this year and had so many breakthroughs - with my creative work, with my business. That is how powerful art can be. Art is a metaphor for life and vice versa. Her free masterclass is coming up and I couldn’t wait until next week to bring this episode to you.

About Deni: Deni Rayneau is an Abstract Expressionist Artist and Mentor from Sydney, Australia. Her abstract paintings are big, colourful, loose and expressive. Deni has online and in-person workshops. She ran a Beta version of her online course The Messy Middle earlier this year, a 35 day experience helping Artists expand their capacity for sitting in the messy stages of the painting process. The official launch of The Messy Middle runs from the 2nd September but she has a Free precursor online workshop ‘Mud to Magic’ from August 16-18th 2024. Everyone is welcome to join!
